This is not an alarming issue for men. Some are already bald when they became famous so it doesn’t really matter. Baldness can even be considered as something that even enhances a man’s image. Tennis champion Andre Agassi was a long-haired young punk who eschewed the conservative traditions of his sport. It was this that fuelled his celebrity early on. In truth, his hair was just a wig. In the middle of his career, he decided to go natural. Towards the end of his career, his bald image proved just as marketable as and actually even more appealing than his old image.
Prince William of Great Britain is one of the best examples of society’s tolerance to the way a man ages and loses his hair. As a teenager and a young man, he was the perfect personification of the fairy tale prince charming. He wasn’t famous for his hair. The fact that he had a full head of it undoubtedly contributed to his appeal. As he got older, his crown started thinning. Perhaps it was his way of preparing to receive the actual crown jewels.
Prince William also got married already, so it’s not like he has to maintain his looks so that eligible single women will want to get with him. Unquestionably, he has the resources to undergo a hair transplant. But it really doesn’t matter because he is still a prince and the future King of England. Just as importantly, he carries the legacy of his late mother, Princess Diana. Now if she was alive today and started losing her hair that would be a whole different story.
Men becoming bald is not an alarming issue though. Some find it sexy.
